A lot of time has been spent outside lately.  Our good friends, Jenn and Winston's little one, Greyson, had his first birthday celebration at a local park.  The highlights for the kids were definitely Jack, their dog...

A walk to the stream and pond,

while bringing Jack along.  (the kids are obsessed with getting a puppy these days - their stuffed ones aren't cutting it anymore)

Chasing birds.  Needless to say, they didn't catch any but Reghan did get her finger snipped by one of the ducks.

Most of this weekend was spent in the yard.  Heath worked on his rock pile that he called "Mickey's Castle" while Ashlyn watched on trying to eat as much dirt as she could sneak into her little mouth.

But there was no question that the shining moment of the weekend was Ashlyn getting her ear's pierced.  Reghan did her best to entertain her and in her usual fashion Miss Ashlyn took it in stride.  One little tear per eye then back to her cheerful self.
