We visited the Santa Barbara Zoo with our friend Meg and son Vince this past weekend and what a lovely zoo. It has a feeling of a beautifully laid out park with zoo animals sprinkled throughout and is the perfect size for little ones. To add to the day, Meg's parent's live in there and had us over for both lunch and dinner. Andy, Meg's father, has a train that runs through their side yard and Reghan had a wonderful time watching it come and go and ducking each time it went over the bridge.
Heath's a little younger than Vince but that didn't stop them from having a booster seat showdown.
Reghan was able to feed the goats, but stayed clear of the fat old hogs.
She then compared her arm span to that of a condor's. I think the condor doesn't stand a chance against our girl.
And then stole poor Vince's hat...
But that's alright, because mommy Meg got it back and Vince forgot all about it.
